About White Rhino Apartments & Tours

White Rhino Apartments & Tours is a family-run accommodation and tours business based in Livingstone, Zambia. We are a Dutch-Zambian family who decided to create a place where visitors to this part of southern Africa can feel comfortable, well supported, and connected to the area without needing to figure everything out on their own.

We built and manage the apartments ourselves. We live on the property. When you stay with us, you are not dealing with a faceless booking platform or a distant management company. You are communicating directly with the people who maintain the place, arrange your tours, and care about your experience.

Why Livingstone?

Livingstone is the gateway to Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. It is a small, welcoming town with a growing range of restaurants, markets, and services. From here, you can access Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park in Botswana, the Zambezi River for sunset cruises and rafting, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park for rhino walks and game drives, and a wide range of adventure and cultural activities.

We chose Livingstone because it offers a more relaxed, authentic experience compared to the busier tourist towns in the region. Our guests can explore at their own pace, with local support from people who know the area well.

What We Provide

Our property has five self-catering apartments, each with a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, smart TV, and access to the swimming pool. The newest addition, the Rhino Apartment, is our most luxurious unit with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We have solar backup power so load shedding does not interrupt your stay. The property is secure with parking, and we are approximately 10-15 minutes from Victoria Falls by car.

We also have an on-site gastro bar and restaurant serving grilled food and traditional Zambian dishes. Guests can enjoy meals and drinks poolside without leaving the property.

Beyond accommodation and food, we arrange tours, activities, and airport transfers with trusted local operators. We do not run the tours ourselves, but we know who does them well and we coordinate everything for our guests. This means you get one point of contact for your entire stay, whether you need a Chobe day trip, a sunset cruise, Victoria Falls visit, or just a reliable airport pickup.
